HOLIDAY OUTFITS ; MY CHOICES FOR THE 2022 SEASON

HOLIDAY OUTFITS

Holiday outfits are hitting the stores. I just finished looking at a post showing friends and friends' kids at Halloween parties. My days of dressing up for Halloween are behind me. However, with the passing of Halloween, the next big thing on the calendar is the Holidays. While we don't all celebrate Christmas, we can all agree holiday parties are a fun time to get together and dress up. I like any chance to get dressed up, but there is something extra special about holiday dressing.

No, we don't have to dress up like a Christmas tree, but the holiday season is the time to let your spirit shine. Often holiday dressing includes an extra dose of seasonal glitz and glamour. Whatever your style, an alluring sweater, a festive dress, or a fashion-forward runway look. I have been working overtime to find outfits that will add some holiday cheer. Whether you celebrate American Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa— it's fun to "Dress The Part."

first choice - an alluring sweater

Whether you are the guest or the hostess comfort is something to be considered. My first choice is a sweater which can easily be paired with a staple you all ready have in your closet.  A mini, midi, or maxi skirt or bring out those fabulous leather pants from the back of the closet they are all options to pair with a  special sweater.  A  sweater can be a great foundation for a fun festive look.  You can choose something with a seasonal motif or go for something that shows your style.

second choice - festive dressing

As the invitations come in, it is time to find that festive dress perfect for your holiday parties. Of course, you can always dress up your favorite little black dress, or maybe it's time to replace your LBD with a new one. If you want to be a little more festive, avoid black, and go for red. All designers showed at least one fabulous red dress this S/S 2023 season-think Alaïa, Salvatore Ferragamo, Schiaparelli, Givenchy, Marni, and more. While those dresses won't be here until next spring, the red dresses available to wear now are just as stunning. Fancy frocks are the way to go for the holiday season of 2022, culminating in a jaw-dropping look to welcome in the coming year.

third choice- party, party party

While I don't hit the nightlife like I used too, I love party clothes. These are those fabulous outfits that will make you standout at the nightclub. the hottest cocktail bar or that who's who party. These extravagant items  will set your holiday wardrobe alive with fun, fierceness and fashion. This is my favorite style of dressing, excess is best when you are looking for those holiday outfits that will turn heads and will make you feel gorgeous and glamorous.
