ABOUT AHBLO LUXURY KNITWEAR
Raquel Grebler Quesne's foray into the fashion world is thrilling. Hailing from a Swiss-Spanish background, Raquel's academic pursuits took her from delving into economics in Switzerland to immersing herself in the intricacies of philosophy at La Sorbonne in Paris. Her diverse cultural adventures throughout Europe, Asia, and South America have left an indelible mark on her design ethos and entrepreneurial savvy.
Raquel's love affair with Alpaca wool sparked a fiery passion for high-end knitwear. Enthralled by its unparalleled softness, insulating properties, and eco-friendly qualities, she viewed Alpaca wool not just as a fabric, but as a canvas for her innovative vision of a sophisticated yet ethical luxury. Ahblo Luxury Knitwear proudly embodies this philosophy, serving as a shining example of elegance and integrity in the world of fashion.
Ahlbo at Vancouver Fashion Week FW24
Ahblo Luxury Knitwear shone under the Vancouver Fashion Week FW24 runway spotlight. The catwalk was graced with their newest collection, "Alpaca Allure," created for the chic, independent soul. Each piece exalted the exceptional characteristics of Alpaca wool, seamlessly fusing plushness with resilience in classic yet contemporary design.
They are using a color palette of diffused neutrals, the colors of which are sourced from natural dyes. The looks are sweaters, dresses, shorts, shawls and trousers. The easy fit of the pieces perfectly embodies the laid-back vibes of the West Coast, with soft silhouettes that exude effortless style. And let's remember the structured shirt jackets that add a touch of sophistication to the mix. Standout-out pieces include an elegant maxi length, black open knit column dress. The gender-fluid nature of this clothing was emphasized by a rusty brown cardigan with a row of pearl buttons worn by a male model. Ahblo is beautiful in it's simplicity. The minimalist nature of the these clothes add to their sophistication, elegance and luxuriousness. Sometimes less is more.

IN CONCLUSION
Those who know me know my taste is not that of a minimalist. I usually lean toward fashion's more extravagant, avant-garde, and maximalist side. While I have propagated this image, my tastes are varied, and I appreciate all the fashion that is well done. I met Raquel Grebler Quesne at VFW; she exemplified her brand. Raquel was dressed in a luxurious deed cocoa-colored wrap, one of her designs. I asked to feel the garment and was immediately in heaven, soft, smooth, and splendid. Branding in fashion is everything, and when your brand, your style, and your life are unified, you win. Raquel exuded the chic, elegant, and sophisticated style of Ahblo. If any of you want to add luxury to your wardrobe, please check out Ahblo Luxury Knitwear.
